A Winter Wonderland of Trees
Christmas on the Farm will be held on Saturday -Dec. 5 from 9:00am to 3:00pm at the Heritage Farm in the Baylake Pavilion 5 miles south of Kewaunee on Hwy 42. Santa will arrive at the Farm at 11:00 and depart for the North Pole at 1:00. Free activities, treats and activity books will be available for children all day. FREE ADMISSION..
A Special attraction this year will be the Winter Wonderland of Trees. Trees will be decorated by individuals or organizations… A Special tree will be the center of the Wonderland; it is an 18-foot tree decorated by children from the Public and Private Schools in Kewaunee.
A panel presentation will take place at 1:00pm What was Christmas like for you as a Child? A member of the panel is Heidi Faller . Heidi was born and raised in Germany. She experienced Christmas as a child in war torn Germany after World War 2. Several other Kewaunee County residents will relate their experiences. Come and join us for a wonderful afternoon of reminiscing and share your experiences. We would love to have you tell your story.
JoAnn Vogel and Jennifer Gozdzialski know you will love the smells of the baking coming from the kitchen of Kringles with homemade fillings of Poppyseed, Prune, Raspberry, Apricot and Cherry fillings , Hoska a Czech Braided Christmas Bread and Maple Nut Twist. Cookies, Candy, and Rosettes will be available for sale all day also. Lovely wreaths and Kissing Balls will be available for sale from the Aissen Tree Farm.
Lunch will be served from 11:00-3:00pm consisting of Sloppy Joes, chips and pickles. Hot chocolate, apple juice, and coffee will be served along with the cookies, kringle and rosettes all day.
