Our Dairy Past

Posted on April 15, 2018

Heritage Farm is proud to announce the first of a 3-part series – “Our Dairy Past”, a way to reunite farmers in Northeastern Wisconsin with their past memberships in local coops, dairies and cheese plants. The first in the series will cover Lake to Lake Dairy Cooperative and showcase the “Lake to Lake Girl” that was featured on many silos across the countryside, advertising “For Goodness Sake, Buy Lake to Lake Dairy Products”. The event will be held at Heritage Farm in Kewaunee on Saturday, May 19 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a panel of speakers at 1:00 PM.  If you have any Lake to Lake memorabilia, such as clothing, signs, or glassware with the Lake to Lake logo – contact Dale Swoboda at 920-323-3323, or Sue Sevcik at 920-471-9289 to display your items at the event.

All former Lake to Lake patrons in the area are invited to attend, along with truckers and employees from any of the plants. Food and refreshments and famous Heritage Farm Baking will be available. All the buildings will be open for viewing, and the Hamacheck Pea Combine will be on display, along with Colton, the Pink Heals Fire Truck.
